Mechanical Site Manager

Time 4 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Temporary Mechanical Site Manager working for a well-established M&E Contractor, based in Bristol, for up to 6 months work.

As Mechanical Site Manager who will be assisting the Project Manager looking after the M&E package on a 152 unit housing Scheme – location just outside Bristol City Centre – near Brislington.

As Mechanical Site Manager you will be joining an outstanding UK leading contractor in Mechanical and Electrical Engineer who services national construction clients across defence, commercial, educational, health, leisure , buildings, office and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

The main duty as Mechanical Site Manager is to oversee installation work conducted by mechanical tradespeople, conduct site inspections , ensuring all health and safety procedures are being adhered to. Overseeing all coordination of labour and subcontractors on site.

* Participation in ordering labour and materials

* Health & Safety

* Tools Box Talks & Site Inductions

* Ensuring works run to programme

* Site meetings with client and contractors

* Quality Assurance

The ideal candidate:

* Have a minimum of 3 years in a management role

* Hold a current SMSTS

* Experience of working on residential projects .

* Must have experience working on Mechanical Projects over £2M

* Experience in looking after the entire Mechanical project (all aspects)

* Experienced in running a group of operatives/engineers

* Passionate and motivated in the workplace

* Strong communication skills

* A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
