Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Fabric Engineer to join the team in London (SE15 6NF).

Pay: £15.38 ph

Qualifications/Required Experience:

******Basic DBS********
Carry out all Fabric duties such as Carpentry, painting & decorating, replace ceiling tiles and laying carpet tiles.

To undertake PPM and reactive works to ensure that all jobs are completed in line with Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and Critical Performance Indicators

To work with the Contractors, to ensure conformity of all works undertaken on site is in line with Equans H&S processes and standards

To order materials and services, as required, within agreed delegation level and certify satisfactory delivery/completion. Update and maintain records; stock control, engineer's reports, maintenance contacts, etc.

To provide estimates, site measurements, cost control information and maintain necessary records for effective administration, as directed.

To liaise as necessary with client representatives and resolve any matters which may arise.

Manage external contractors when they are carrying out compliance related works ensuring they submit RAMS and provide them with the relevant permits.

To assist with creating and maintaining all logbooks to ensure statutory compliance.

To undertake Authorised Person duties on the site inline with those associated with your role, such as Water Hygiene checks in accordance with ACOP L8 and Fire Door checks in accordance with BM TRADA and others to be determined.

To participate and present documentation for external and internal compliance audits

To assist in portering duties as may be required by the Supervisor / Team Leader. These tasks include furniture resets, post deliveries and loading bay duties.

Respond to requests generated from the Helpdesk within agreed scheduled periods and accurately complete work order forms before returning them to the Helpdesk.

To assist in the cover of staff who are absent, off sick or on annual leave as may be required by the Supervisor / Team Leader.

To assist customers, clients and colleagues in a friendly and positive manner

Ensure that all consumables are filled within the washroom and catering areas.

To comply with the Company's Policies, Management Plans and Procedures

Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health &

Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans

To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description.
