Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a multi-faceted compliance management provider, with a strong presence in the South East of England. They are looking for a knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor who can confidently service client contracts, ranging from local authority, commercial and public sector premises. You will be travelling across: Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Fleet, Farnborough, Farnham, Aldershot, Guildford, Bracknell, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Didcot, Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury, Chesham, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Croydon, Caterham, Redhill, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, St Albans.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have proven experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines
– Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Good knowledge of HSG 274 guidelines
– It would be beneficial to have hands-on water hygiene / remedial plumbing experience
– Able to produce detailed reports
– Good client-facing experience
The Role:
– Conducting thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
– Writing bespoke reports to outline findings and recommendations for remedials
– Collecting water samples and carrying out temperature monitoring
– Answering clients' queries and providing sound technical advice
– Maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with clients
– Travelling as required by the company
– Assisting new and training members of staff
