We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager working with a fit-out contractor on education projects in the South Kensington area.

About the role of Project Manager

We are looking for a dedicated client facing Project Manager to work on a £500k education fit out project, involving the management of in-house design team, Whitebox, furniture fitting along with small mechanical services works. It is essential that the Project Manager is client facing, well-presented and commercially minded, excellent at QA, and have a solid understanding of fit out packages.

The project is working on canteen and classroom areas of a private school involving light alteration works and a complete internal fit out.

You will be reporting to the Operations Director intermittently to update progress. Whilst managing the site & managing the program, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Requirements for the Project Manager

Have education / schools fit out experience.
Ability to manage a program, writing short term look ahead and inserting drop lines
Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs
Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
Understanding of programs and ability to handle minutes efficiently
Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
SMSTS, First Aid, and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs
DBS Cleared
