We are seeking a talented Senior Site Engineer to join our client's team on a significant £40 million Ministry of Defence (MOD) project. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a vital national infrastructure scheme, working within a highly professional and supportive environment.

About the Role:

As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this complex MOD project. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering aspects on site, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. Your expertise will be vital in problem-solving, managing engineering teams, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out, surveying, and supervising engineering operations on site.
Ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality standards and in accordance with design specifications and drawings.
Implementing and promoting robust health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and proposing effective solutions.
Managing and mentoring junior engineers and site personnel.
Liaising effectively with the client, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate site records, diaries, and quality assurance documentation.
Assisting with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements.About You:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with a strong background in civil engineering or construction.
Demonstrable experience working on large-scale projects, ideally with exposure to MOD or similar secure environments.
A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Proficiency in setting out, surveying techniques, and engineering software.
Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A valid driving license.What's on Offer:

A competitive salary of £55,000 – £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
