Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of a high-quality residential apartment development in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in facilities, hospitality, or property management who takes pride in delivering excellent service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage cleaning, maintenance, front-of-house, waste, and security services across the site
Ensure all services are delivered to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
Lead and supervise on-site staff and external contractors
Monitor budgets and control service delivery costs
Ensure legal compliance across all areas including health & safety, fire safety, and general property compliance
Maintain accurate records, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
Respond to resident or guest issues in a timely and professional manner
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure service quality is maintained
Requirements:
Previous experience in facilities, property, or hospitality management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of health & safety and property compliance standards
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple services and teams effectively
NEBOSH or IOSH certification is desirable but not essential
Experience in residential, hotel, or serviced apartment environments is an advantage
