A well established and privately owned main contractor based in South West London is seeking a capable and proactive Procurement / Office Manager to join their team.

With a solid track record, this contractor specialises in the construction and refurbishment of ultra high quality, super prime residential projects across London, delivering exceptional work on basements, structural renovations, and luxury internal fit-outs. They have a steady and loyal client base and pride themselves on maintaining a close-knit and dependable team.

This is a broad role that requires someone who is confident handling procurement, office administration, and some light accounts responsibilities. It would suit a versatile individual who is highly organised, IT-savvy, and enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day office and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing procurement of construction materials – liaising with suppliers, negotiating prices, and scheduling deliveries.

*

Handling H&S administration.

*

Overseeing office IT tasks (e.g. setting up laptops and resolving basic IT issues).

*

Processing the purchase ledger: monitoring the accounts inbox, entering invoices into Sage, reconciling supplier statements.

*

Checking and reviewing utility statements.

*

Understanding of CIS deductions and compliance.

*

General office management and supporting the Directors where required.

Candidate Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a similar role within a construction environment.

*

Working knowledge of Sage and understanding of CIS.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Comfortable working full time from the office – no remote or hybrid option.

*

Practical, positive attitude – someone who is happy to get stuck in and help out where needed.

*

IT literate – confident setting up systems and helping the team with basic IT.

Salary & Benefits:

*

£30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.

*

Standard hours 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm (with some flexibility if needed).

*

Office based role in South West London.
