The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 residential contractor for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in Bordon. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading developer delivering high-quality residential housing in a growing area.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you’ll support the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations to ensure the smooth delivery of a new-build housing project. You’ll be hands-on with subcontractor coordination, health and safety management, site logistics, and maintaining build quality from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist in managing daily site operations and ensure work is progressing to programme
*
Support subcontractor coordination and site supervision
*
Maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards on site
*
Monitor build quality and carry out snagging as required
*
Ensure site records and reports are completed accurately
*
Assist with deliveries and overall site logistics
*
Liaise with suppliers, trades, and internal teams as required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
*
Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in residential construction
*
Previous work with a Tier 1 or reputable housebuilder is desirable
*
Good understanding of NHBC standards, health & safety legislation, and build programmes
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification (preferred)
*
Motivated, reliable, and eager to progress within a professional team
