Sub Agent

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in civil engineering projects, particularly within the highways, infrastructure, or local authority sectors.

About the Role of Sub Agent

This role will require the Sub Agent to support the Site Agent in the delivery of on-site works. Projects are located in and around the Cambridgeshire area. The Sub Agent will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations on-site, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting communication between teams, subcontractors, and the Site Agent.

Responsibilities for Sub Agent

Assisting the Site Agent in overseeing site works including highways maintenance and new construction
Supervising subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
Supporting the implementation of site programmes and providing input into planning and resource management
Carrying out safety and compliance checks, including daily briefings and site inspections
Monitoring site progress and reporting issues or delays to the Site Agent and senior staff
Assisting with site documentation, permits, and compliance with CDM regulations
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to support project goals
Reviewing RAMS, WPPs, and quality documentation to help ensure site expectations are met
Contributing to site reporting and KPIs for the Delivery TeamRequirements for Sub Agent

Previous experience in a civil engineering site role
Background in highways and/or local authority projects
Valid CSCS card; SMSTS and First Aid qualifications desirable
Good communication and team coordination skills
