Salary: 85K basic plus bonus (OTE:160K – 185K)

Our client, a highly regarded housebuilder, is looking for an experienced Land Manager to join their Staffordshire team. This role is central to driving new opportunities in land acquisition and partnership led development, supporting expansion plans across the Midlands areas.

Position Overview:

The Land Manager will work closely with the Head of Land to lead the identification and progression of residential development opportunities. Instrumental in driving the regional land acquisition strategy.

This role suits someone who can think commercially, act autonomously, and enjoys building long-term, collaborative relationships with local authorities, housing associations, and landowners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively identify and evaluate potential land and partnership-led development sites aligned with regional growth targets.

* Lead proposal development and oversee tender submissions for new opportunities.

* Manage the negotiation of land agreements and commercial terms.

* Contribute to land appraisals and assist with pricing strategies.

* Represent the business in public consultations and community engagement activity.

* Maintain and grow a network of key stakeholders, including local authorities, housing partners, etc.

* Prepare regular updates and reports on land pipeline status for regional leadership.

* Support broader strategic planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.

* Significant experience in residential land buying and/or partnerships within the housing or development sector.

* Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

* A skilled negotiator with confidence navigating complex agreements and planning matters.
