Quantity Surveyor – Bedfordshire

Location: Bedfordshire

Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working (x2 days office)

Salary Expectations: £30,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a utilities contractor to across Water, Highways, and Power industries that are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

The Quantity Surveyor will be on a full time permanent joining the commercial team to deliver cost value reconciliation, assessments, and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

Regular site visits and liaising with the production team and project managers.
Reviewing and negotiating NEC contracts (Option A & B).
Analysing rates & prices and agreement of variations and / or compensation events as required.
Forecasting accurate project rates to assist with tenders and live works.
Reviewing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation)
Allocating work to sub-contractors including assistance with procurement when required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor working alongside water, power or highways industry.
Experience with compensation and information management
Proven working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
Excellent negotiation, commercial and communication skills.
