Material Controller

Job Title: Material Controller – Large Residential Project
Location: Barking, London
Contract Type: Freelance (2 Years)

We are seeking an experienced Material Controller to join our team on a large-scale residential development in Barking, East London. This is a 2-year freelance contract offering the opportunity to play a key role in a landmark project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials across site

* Maintain accurate records of materials received and issued

* Coordinate with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials

* Monitor stock levels and proactively prevent shortages or overstocking

* Ensure all materials are stored safely and in line with site procedures

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Material Controller on large construction projects

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* CSCS card (essential)

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
