Project Manager

This position involves overseeing the full project lifecycle—from initial planning to successful handover—ensuring outcomes meet time, cost, and quality expectations. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strategic approach to project execution.
Core Responsibilities:

Oversee the full scope of solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance projects.

Create detailed project plans, timelines, and financial forecasts aligned with company goals.

Coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams.

Track project performance, proactively manage risks, and apply corrective actions where necessary.

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety legislation, technical standards, and regulatory frameworks.

Conduct on-site inspections to verify work quality, progress, and conformance with design and specifications.

Provide expert technical input and resolve challenges during all phases of the project.

Deliver comprehensive reports, documentation, and performance reviews to stakeholders.

Identify and implement process enhancements to increase operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required:

Demonstrable experience in managing renewable energy and/or electrical infrastructure projects.
*
Sound knowledge of solar PV systems, battery energy storage, EV charge points, and ongoing electrical maintenance.
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
*
Familiarity with health & safety legislation, including CDM 2015, and thorough risk management practices.
*
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
*
Skilled in using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
*
Possession of a full UK driving licence is preferred.
