About the Role

Walker & Sloan are working on behalf of a high-performing interior fit-out contractor to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their senior operations team. This is a pivotal role, overseeing the delivery of multiple commercial fit-out projects across the M4 corridor – from initial planning through to final handover.

You’ll be leading experienced teams, liaising with stakeholders and clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

🛠 Project Leadership

Define scope and create detailed project delivery plans

*

Lead multiple projects concurrently, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

*

Monitor progress and resolve challenges before they impact delivery

👷 Team & Site Coordination

*

Manage and mentor project managers and site teams

*

Appoint and coordinate subcontractors aligned with company standards

*

Chair site meetings and manage stakeholder expectations

📊 Commercial & Compliance Oversight

*

Ensure projects are delivered to agreed margins and financial targets

*

Monitor project spend and cash flow, reporting to senior management

*

Oversee health & safety compliance and building control requirements

What We're Looking For

✅ 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role, ideally in commercial interiors or fit-out
✅ A strong track record of delivering multiple projects across different phases
✅ Confident leadership and decision-making skills
✅ Excellent commercial awareness and budgetary control
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
