A full, clean driving licence is required. This role necessitates increased flexibility, including weekend on-call and onsite work, as part of the strategic responsibilities.

Our client a UK leader in large scale temporary infrastructure and event solutions are looking for a Head of Projects to head up their seating construction projects.

You’ll be required to strategically lead, plan, manage, and direct all aspects of projects from initial enquiry through to delivery on-site, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, client satisfaction, and financial performance within agreed timeframes and budgets

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction for all projects and collaborate with senior management to develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and equipment needs.
Apply advanced structural engineering knowledge to collaboratively develop project plans with clients, ensuring business unit capabilities align with agreed plans.
People Management – Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing project team.
Drive profitability by achieving or exceeding predicted profit margins and maintaining strict budget control.
Oversee accurate project costing, finalising project pricing and contribute to strategic month-end reporting
Identify and secure new client contracts while nurturing and expanding existing relationships, leading the creation and innovation of competitive tenders and proposals.
Coordinate and participate in strategic site visits and client meetings.
Ensure the production of accurate and detailed technical drawings through the CAD Team.
Validate build schedules
Utilise advanced surveying equipment to provide precise topographical data to the technical services department.
Disseminate accurate instructions and drawings to the Operations team.
Uphold and promote strict Health and Safety Regulations. Knowledge Required

Extensive experience in operations management within the relevant industry.
In-depth understanding of products and services related to events, construction, or seating
Comprehensive knowledge of temporary seating codes and regulations Skills & Qualifications

Significant experience in project management and leadership roles.
Advanced knowledge of the construction industry.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills with a strategic focus and the ability to make high-impact decisions
