Our client is a Construction and Engineering contractor who due to a new project award require a Construction Site Manager to lead an live project based in Southampton.

The project is a multi million indutrial warehouse refurbishment and consists of all services – building fabric, mechanical and electrical and some associated civil engineering works.

They are seeking a Site Manager who ideally has come from a trades background and managed site operations on building fabric and construction projects up to £5million. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the site, managing subcontractors, monitoring project progress and ensuring works are completed to to time and standard with the utmost focus on health and safety on site.

Ideally you will have a building / construction trade qualification and possess SMSTS as a minimum requirement.

This is an immediately available contract which if successful, will enable extension of contract onto new / alternative projects within the business.
