Trainee Project Manager

Branta Recruitment are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused Trainee / Assistant / Junior Project Manager to join a growing Projects Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within project management.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting project delivery, conducting site visits, liaising with engineers and site managers, coordinating key project tasks, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and in line with client expectations. You will be instrumental in improving efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to future business growth.

This position offers hands-on experience across a diverse project portfolio and the opportunity to develop key project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake regular site visits to monitor progress and complete site checklists, including photographs and written reports.

Act as a point of contact between site teams and the Projects Team, ensuring clear communication.

*

Identify and report on-site issues related to safety, quality, presence, tidiness, and timelines.

*

Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating projects from inception to completion.

*

Track milestones and support the timely delivery of project phases.

*

Coordinate and monitor deliverables, schedules, and team responsibilities.

*

Prepare weekly project reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

*

Support on-site logistics by ensuring labour, plant, and materials are properly allocated.

*

Review on-site health and safety documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

*

Collaborate with senior team members to refine project processes and contribute to overall strategy.
