We are working with a leading property developer to hire a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a new mixed use tower in Canary Wharf. This developer has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London, with a portfolio that includes some of the capital's most recognisable developments.

You will be working on a complex, high-value development in one of the world's most prestigious business districts.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction phases
Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets
Manage subcontractor payments and variations
Regularly assess progress and quality
Prepare monthly cost reports for senior management
Negotiate rates with suppliers and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
Support tender processes and procurement activitiesRequirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in construction cost management
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and construction law
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office suite
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
