Retrofit Coordinator

Capilaux is working with a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy to appoint a Retrofit Coordinator for upcoming SHF Wave 3-funded retrofit programmes across the North West. This is a key role within an expanding sustainability and retrofit team, offering a meaningful, long-term career path for a technically capable and motivated professional.

You’ll play a central role in delivering housing decarbonisation projects in line with PAS 2035, improving homes, communities, and lives—while building your expertise with a forward-thinking employer that supports flexibility, growth, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end domestic retrofit projects under PAS 2035.

*

Oversee retrofit assessments and designs, ensuring compliance and quality.

*

Advise on suitable improvement measures and additional technical requirements.

*

Carry out site visits and desktop reviews; produce clear, actionable reports.

*

Collaborate closely with internal and external design teams.

*

Use SAP software to model building performance and reduce thermal bridging.

*

Attend project meetings, document actions, and support continuous improvement.

*

Engage in CPD, knowledge-sharing, and best practice initiatives.

Essential Requirements

*

BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

*

Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment.

*

Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency and Retrofit of Traditional Buildings.

*

Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 / PAS 2030 frameworks.

*

Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects across diverse client groups.

Desirable (Not Essential)

*

MRICS (Chartered Building Surveyor status)
