Senior Site Manager
Senior Site Manager – We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of key sectors, including commercial, education, industrial, leisure, healthcare, and social housing.
The ideal candidate will be based within the Cambridge / Suffolk / Essex region with an expectation to get to Ipswich Head Office and ensuring easy access to project sites.
Your Role:
·Proven ability to manage and coordinate site activities by scheduling and organising trades in line with the construction programme.
·Skilled in developing short-term programmes with a strong understanding of risk, management principles.
·Strong commercial awareness with the ability to monitor and work within project budgets.
·Capable of controlling site costs through diligent assessment of supply chain variation requests.
·Effective in organising and managing both direct labour and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
·A strong commitment to the business and its personal approach to contracting.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with our clients and supply-chain alike.
·Highly self-motivated with a positive can-do approach to drive the project to a successful completion.
·Ability to assist a Contracts Manager and manage junior managers.
·Good team management and leadership skills.
·Take responsibility for the day-to-day running and organisation of the site.
·Ability to anticipate and solve problems as they present themselves on site.
·Maintain ordered and accurate information and records on the project.
·Ability to travel within our operating area and lodge away when required.
Offer:
