Overview:
LRL Recruitment are looking for an experienced and driven Installations Supervisor to lead a team of operatives delivering engineered installation solutions across the UK. This role involves supervising jacking, skidding, and lifting operations as part of a specialist projects team.
This is a great opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a prestigious company known for complex heavy lifting and transport operations, supporting large-scale infrastructure and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of operatives delivering engineered installation projects including jacking, skidding, and lifting
Operate from Allelys' Head Office and travel to project sites nationwide
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Allelys' health and safety policies
Follow all third-party site rules and project-specific RAMS
Operate plant and machinery after receiving appropriate training and certification
Report incidents, malfunctions, or safety concerns to relevant managers
Support the maintenance and inspection of site equipment and lifting tackle
Take a hands-on approach when loading/unloading equipment in the yard and onsite
Deliver toolbox talks, supervise safe working practices, and ensure team productivity

Skills and Experience:
In-depth knowledge of the heavy lift and engineered construction sectors
Prior site experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Excellent organisational and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
Comfortable managing onsite operations under tight deadlines
Must be flexible with travel and able to work away from home for varying durations
Essential Qualifications:
Full UK Driving Licence
CITB Safety Passport / CSCS Labourer Card
Slinger Signaller – CPCS or NPORS
Telehandler – CPCS or NPORS
Desirable Qualifications:
Crane Supervisor – CPCS
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
Knowledge and experience with hydraulic jacking systems
