About the Company
Our client is an industry leading provider of integrated workplace solutions, specializing in office design and build and furniture. They are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager to join their team in Bristol and help deliver projects up to circa £5m. The client is passionate about creating inspiring workplaces that meet the needs of their clients and they pride themselves on delivering outstanding results.
About the Role
The Contracts manager will be responsible for smooth running of projects contractually, liaising with both the on-site team/operation and the client ensuring the project portfolio runs on time and to budget.
This includes full planning accountability, supporting the project managers with the organising staff and contractors, liaising with stake holders, project control, delivery and implementation. The Contracts Manager leads the assigned project portfolio as needed, ensuring that they collaborate with all other departments needed.
The key roles and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, suppliers, or partners to ensure favourable terms for the organization while mitigating risks.
* Project Planning: The Project Manager would work with the project team to develop a comprehensive project plan, including project scope, budget, and schedule.
* Resource Management: They would manage resources required for the project, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
* Risk Management: They would identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any potential issues that may arise during the project.
* Quality Control: The Project Manager would be responsible for ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds the required standards of quality.
* Stakeholder Management: They would manage communication and relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
* Budget Management: They would be responsible for managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
