Job Title: Senior/ Associate Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
Location: Bristol
Salary £55,000- £70,000 (inclusive of car allowance, negotiable depending on level of experience) + additional benefits
Kenton Black International is excited to be supporting one of the world's leading consultancies in their search for an Senior/Quantity Surveyor to join their busy Bristol office, working across a variety of sectors. (Not siloed into one industry).

Employing circa 70 staff across multiple offices their multi-disciplinary expertise includes; project management, cost consultancy, building surveying, employer’s and tenant’s agent services, CDM advice, and principal designer support. They take pride in delivering bespoke solutions, ensuring each project benefits from tailored guidance and expert oversight. With ambitions to grow sustainably this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly company, delivering on some fantastic schemes, across a variety of sectors; leisure, retail and commercial, infrastructure, residential, healthcare and industrial (project values up to £500 million).
The Opportunity
We're keen to hear from people with a proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying/scheduling across the full lifecycle of schemes, across a variety of sectors.
A snapshot of some of the responsibilities –
•Pre and post-contract duties, including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
•Employers Agent; overseeing project contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, managing risks, and coordinating stakeholders for successful delivery.
•Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
•Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
•Producing monthly post contract cost reports and interfacing with the client at all project stages.
•Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes.
•Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
