Site Manager – Residential apartments
Your new company
A well-established national housebuilder with multiple flagship schemes in the south-east is now looking for an experienced site manager to join an ongoing project in the Medway area. The scheme is a mixture of traditional and RC apartment blocks at varying stages of construction with several years still to run. The additional site manager will be joining an extremely stable site team, initially overseeing the construction and external envelope phase of several new RC frame blocks managing the groundworks, frames, facade, brickwork and roofing contractors.
Your new role
Reporting to a project manager, you will be directly responsible for your blocks. You will be managing the subcontractors, ensuring health and safety, quality control, anticipating and managing issues and reporting to the PM with programme updates. You will sit in fortnightly management meetings and work closely with commercial and technical as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced site manager with a background of working for a medium to large housebuilder and the level of reporting they expect. You will be comfortable working on the external/construction phase and, ideally, have worked on rc frame apartment schemes previously. This is a permanent role. Therefore, interested candidates must be looking for a long-term career move.
