Client-side Property Developer, London

An ambitious and successful London Property Developer that specialise in residential led and urban mixed use regeneration across Hotels, PBSA and Residential asset classes is looking to appoint a Cost Planner to support their Pre- Development project activity by joining their PreConstruction and Cost Planning team to deliver exciting live schemes as well as assess new land acquisition/investments to provide cost analysis and robust detailed cost plans.

You will have a great opportunity to work in the heartbeat of the development team providing strong cost data and analysis of land opportunities, and supporting feasibility/viability studies through the acquisition process. You will assist and support on the cost management of projects from RIBA design stages 1- 3 cost measurement of schemes from drawings to produce robust budgets and cost plans.

The ideal Cost Planner will be a forward thinker, resilient and confident in working independently as well as within a team environment. You would hold extensive experience on projects that vary in scale and complexity between £50-£150 million across assets classes focused in mixed use residential schemes, BTR, PBSA and hotels.

Candidates with cost management experience in these sectors are of interest who can identify risk and support value engineering to manage risk, as well as demonstrate construction and build cost knowledge within London market for development. You may have experience working for a Property Developer or Main Contractor in a similar role in cost management and quantity surveying with a strong interest in working in pre-development and pre-construction stages of the project lifecycle
