Professional Water Treatment Company are currently recruiting for an experience Water Hygiene Engineer to a mixed portfolio of contracts across the North West. Applicants will come from a strong legionella compliance background and will ideally have experience working on cooling towers. For the right candidate the client can offer regional based work, with a good work life balance.
Consideration will be given to candidates with good access to the M6 and M62 including; Bolton, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Keighley, Batley, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Demonstrable knowledge of legionella compliance.
– Experience carrying out water hygiene / monitoring duties to ACoP L8 guidelines.
– Ideally experience working on cooling towers.
– Able to work on their own or as part of a team.
– Full UK driving license.
Duties will include but not limited to.
– Temperature monitoring.
– Legionella sampling.
– Working on commercial and industrial sites on domestic hot and cold-water systems.
– Showerhead descales.
– Calorifiers flushing.
– Cleans & Disinfections on storage tanks.
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
– TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
– CWST inspections.
– Basic remedial works when required.
