We have a great opportunity for a Site Manager working with a fit-out contractor in Kings Cross

About the role of Site Manager

We are looking for a fully-fledged site manager with a strong commercial background to work on conversion project of an existing building into commercial space, the job is currently approaching first fix and due to run for circa 6 months. As the site manager you will be reporting to a visiting Project Manager 2-3 x per month to update with the programme / client engagement.

The project is a conversion of an existing building that has been fully ripped up, new structural steels installed to reconfigure the internals of the building. The project is due to cost £3m and currently approaching first fix so will no need a manager who is internally focussed and has a strong eye for detail.

Requirements for the Site Manager

Have commercial fit out experience
Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs
Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
Understanding of programs and ability to handle minutes efficiently
Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certsWhat we offer for the Site Manager
