Senior Quantity Surveyor – East Midlands

Senior Quantity Surveyor – a growing privately-owned building contractor is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering projects ranging from £5m – £50m.

Requirements:
– Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills
– Experience managing sub-contractor variations
– Experience dealing with final accounts
– Industry related qualification

Key Duties:
– Monthly valuations, payment certifications, and final accounts
– Working collaboratively within a supportive commercial team
– Reporting, cash flow projections, and progress meetings
– Subcontractor procurement, award, and management
– Identification and resolution of potential disputes

Salary & Package:
– Basic salary of £70,000 – £75,000 (DOE)
– Company Car or Allowance (£5,500)
– Company Bonus Scheme
– Healthcare & Pension

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £5m+.
