About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team on the landmark Old Oak Common project – one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure developments.
This role is ideally suited for an experienced professional with a strong background in Tier 2 or Tier 3 contracting, and proven expertise in NEC contract management. Experience with structural steel and cladding packages is highly desirable, as these will form a core part of your commercial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Commercial management of major work packages, including structural steel and cladding
*
Full administration of NEC contracts, including change control, compensation events, and final accounts
*
Forecasting, cost control, and cash flow reporting
*
Management of subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
*
Liaison with site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and client commercial representatives
*
Risk identification and mitigation across commercial and contractual scopes
*
Contribution to project planning, procurement strategies, and cost reviews
Required Experience & Qualifications:
*
5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with recent work in a senior capacity
*
Strong background working with Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractors
*
In-depth understanding and application of NEC forms of contract
*
Specific experience managing structural steel and cladding work packages
*
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar discipline
*
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
*
Proficiency in commercial software tools (e.g. Excel, CEMAR, or similar)
*
Ability to work on-site in London on a full-time basis
