Site Manager – Social Housing – Planned Maintinace
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee re-roofing projects within the social housing sector across Berkshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a reputable contractor offering long-term career prospects.
🔨 About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of re-roofing projects on occupied social housing properties, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Manage site teams and subcontractors to deliver complete re-roofing works
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Liaise with residents, clients, and local authorities
Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards
Maintain accurate site records and reporting
🧰 Requirements:
Proven experience managing re-roofing projects in the social housing sector
Valid SSSTS certification (SMSTS also considered)
First Aid at Work qualification
CSCS card (in date and relevant to role)
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience working on occupied properties and managing resident liaison
