About the Client:
Our client is a rapidly growing housebuilder known for delivering quality residential developments across the region. With a strong pipeline and commitment to excellence, they are seeking an experienced No. 1 Site Manager to lead a flagship project in Worcestershire comprising approximately 70 new homes.
The Role:
As the No. 1 Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of the site from start to finish. You will manage the day-to-day operations, oversee subcontractors, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and liaise with stakeholders to keep the project on track for quality, budget, and timeline targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for the 70-unit development
* Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
* Monitor project progress and report to senior management
* Maintain compliance with all statutory and company health and safety requirements
* Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as a No. 1 Site Manager on residential projects of similar scale
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent understanding of construction processes, health & safety, and quality control
* Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
* CSCS card and relevant construction qualifications
* Commitment to delivering outstanding results within deadlines
