Description
Conduct property inspections and prepare detailed building surveys.
Provide expert advice on building defects, repairs, and maintenance.
Manage refurbishment and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Prepare tender documents and oversee contractor performance.
Carry out risk assessments and advise on health and safety issues.
Support clients with property acquisitions by assessing building conditions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project objectives within agreed timelines.
Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports.Profile
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
Membership or working towards membership of a professional body such as RICS.
Proven experience in property inspections and building surveys.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and property legislation.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Ideally understanding of schedule or rates, capital works or planned maintenance programs.Job Offer
