The role includes in-house training and career advancement prospects as the design department grows. Specialising in the design and manufacture of roller chains, conveyor chains, and chain sprockets, the company operates UK-wide, serving diverse industries with projects ranging from £100k to £300k. With continued growth and success, the company is expanding its design department and is now seeking a CAD technician with a mechanical engineering background to join their team.
In this role, you'll be an integral member of a close-knit team, responsible for producing detailed component and assembly drawings. Your key duties will include creating 3D models and assemblies, preparing technical drawings, collaborating closely with colleagues, and liaising with clients and suppliers, among other tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background and be proficient in CAD. This is an office-based role in Blackburn.
