A well-respected and long-established architecture and surveying practice in South East London is looking to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to their team. Known for their professional, design-conscious approach, the practice delivers a wide range of projects across the residential, education, commercial, and heritage sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Part 1 graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where creativity and attention to detail are highly valued.
Key responsibilities for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
Assist with the development of design proposals and presentation material across all RIBA stages
Support senior team members in producing drawings, models, and visualisations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Carry out site visits, surveys, and assist with the preparation of planning and building regulation submissions
Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to the team’s collaborative processRequirements for this Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:
A recognised undergraduate degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 1 or equivalent)
Strong design, drawing, and presentation skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with SketchUp or Revit is a plus
A proactive attitude with excellent organisational and communication skills
