Quantity Surveyor

Due to fast company growth, our Client is recruiting for a Permanent Quantity Surveyor for work from their Bristol / Newport Branches . The ideal candidate will have experience working on maintenance contracts, housing association and internals projects –including bathrooms, kitchens and decorating.

This role of Permanent Quantity Surveyor is to cover both their Bristol Branch or to their Newport Branch. .

Through multiple branches our clients offer a vast range of services including Maintenance Contracts, Retrofit and Energy Services, roofing, flooring , kitchen and bathroom replacements, planned and project works in painting, Passive Fire Projection, Disrepair Works , Multi-disciplinary Fabric Upgrades,

The role of Quantity Surveyor:

* To manage financial and technical aspects of contracts including procurement, invoicing and payment to minimise costs & maximise value

* Ensure tenders are prepared by measuring and calculating rates for estimating for review with local Commercial team and Branch Manager

* To ensure all work issued has labour targets to return agreed margins

* Monitor the weekly and monthly cost information and accurately produce monthly valuations

* To develop and maintain relationships with the workforce, customers, subcontractors and suppliers

* Promote the values of Bell Group at all opportunities

Benefits of this role

As Contracts Manager your will, be rewarded a competitive salary, £45,0000 to £60,000 per year based on skillset and experience plus Car allowance of 4k– 5k. 31 days holidays including public holidays which increases with length of service. There is paid maternity and paid paternity leave. You will receive Life Assurance cover and Pension contributions.
