FREELANCE ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR-SOUTH WEST/HOME WORKING-OUTSIDE IR35

Due to an increase in workload within their Highways sector in the South West of England, our client, a top Regional Main Contractor have the need for an Assistant QS to support the Commercial Team working on Highway Construction schemes in the South West.

This role will be supporting a Senior QS based on schemes around Gloucester/ Worchester area. However, this role does offer hybrid working/ home working with the occasional site visits (as and when needed, so more home working).

Specifi duties will include:

Subcontract Procurement & Commercial Management

Price compensation events

Commercial Reports

To be considered, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will ideally have Highways experience however solid all round Civil Engineering experience is also considered.

This comes with an excellent day rate which is OUTSIDE IR35 and a 6 month + contract. There is also lots of flexibility with home working which is great also.
