What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of the projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and commercial success.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing, negotiating, and managing client contracts (including NEC3 and NEC4)
* Administering contract changes, compensation events, and quotations
* Preparing and managing payment applications and commercial documentation
* Drafting and managing subcontractor agreements
* Providing guidance and support to project teams on contract compliance and commercial strategy
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is confident, adaptable, and solution-focused. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple projects and collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
Key Requirements:
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Experience working with NEC contracts (NEC3 and/or NEC4) in infrastructure or technology projects
* A solid understanding of contract law and industry-standard forms (e.g. NEC, JCT)
* Strong IT skills (particularly in Excel and Word)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* A self-starter who’s highly organised, with a keen eye for detail
Bonus points if you have:
* Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB)
