Overview

A Central London-based design consultancy is seeking a talented and self-motivated Revit / CAD Technician with a background in building structures to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented technician with at least 3 years’ experience to contribute to a variety of high-quality structural engineering projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure. You will support structural engineers by producing accurate technical drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD, while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Produce structural drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD

*

Coordinate with engineers and other team members to ensure technical accuracy

*

Assist with project documentation and drawing management

*

Maintain drawing and model standards in line with company and industry practices

*

Contribute to problem-solving and help resolve design issues efficiently

*

Work across a range of building structure projects in residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors

Candidate Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar CAD/BIM technician role

*

Strong background in structural drafting and detailing

*

Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (essential)

*

Good time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines

*

High level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

A willingness to learn and support junior staff where needed
