About the Role:

As an Estimator, you will be crucial in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of new build and refurbishment projects such as multi-storey residential blocks, student accommodation complexes, and significant industrial, commercial, and healthcare projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Producing detailed cost estimates for diverse construction projects.

Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Collaborating closely with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Identifying and evaluating potential risks and opportunities within bids.

Supporting the pre-construction team in developing winning strategies.

Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record as an Estimator, ideally within a main contractor environment. The successful candidate will possess:

Solid experience in preparing comprehensive tenders for projects of varying values.

A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively at all levels.

A proactive approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field are highly desirable.
