A leading Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor are now seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work within their susscessful, friendly and very busy team

This leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor are working across various project sectors including Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare and MOD

The role ;

* As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Developing Mechanical Building Services designs for a range of construction projects.

* Producing detailed design drawings, schematics, and specifications.

* Carrying out thermal calculations, system sizing, and energy efficiency assessments.

* Working closely with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

* Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices.

The ideal individual will have ..

Experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer within an M&E Contractor, consultancy, or Construction business
Have a strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, heating, and plumbing systems.
Be knowledgble and experienced within AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, or similar design software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services).
