Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical installations on a high-end residential development in Cardiff. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring mechanical works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Lead and coordinate mechanical installation activities across the site.
Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and the client team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of mechanical packages.
Review and manage on-site instructions and variations.
Oversee commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.
Ensure mechanical works are delivered in line with design specifications and industry standards.
Manage and support site engineers and subcontractors.
Proactively resolve mechanical issues and escalate where necessary.
Maintain high standards of health and safety across all mechanical operations.
Ensure quality control and compliance with project documentation and regulations.Requirements of a Mechanical Project Manager:

Proven experience managing mechanical packages on high-value residential or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical building services, including HVAC, plumbing, and public health systems.
Experience with design coordination, commissioning, and handover processes.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HND/HNC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
