Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and coordinate electrical works on a high-end residential development in Cardiff. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle-from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover-ensuring all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Project Manager:
Manage and coordinate all electrical aspects of the project from pre-construction through to completion.
Work closely with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
Set and monitor project milestones, ensuring timely progress and adherence to programme.
Oversee the preparation and review of installation drawings, commissioning plans, and handover documentation.
Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently to avoid delays.
Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintain quality control and ensure all electrical installations meet required benchmarks.
Requirements of an Electrical Project Manager:
Proven experience managing electrical packages on high-value residential or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of building services, including design principles, commissioning, and handover processes.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services).
Experience in the energy from waste sector or similar is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
First Aid and Health & Safety qualifications preferred.
