Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Water / Air)
Location: London / M25 region.
Salary: £28k – £48k + Company Vehicle, Benefits Package.
Professional Water / HVAC commissioning company, with a longstanding team of engineers and management, are currently looking for an experienced engineer to join their South East office. The successful candidates will be traveling across the London / M25 region; working on a wide range of water / air systems, delivering commissioning and balancing duties to ensure the client's compliance.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong commissioning engineer (water & Air balancing) background with a good working knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.
Consideration will be given to candidates based; London, Hatfield, Watford, Enfield, Harrow, Wembley, Ilford, Romford, Dartford, Bromley, Croydon, Orpington, Sutton, Hounslow and the surrounding areas.
Requirements:
– Experience working as a HVAC / Water Commissioning Engineer.
– CSA grades (beneficial)
– 18th Electrical qualification and strong background in engineering (beneficial)
– Working knowledge of water and air systems.
– Able to draw and work to schematic drawings.
– Positive and friendly attitude.
Role:
– Commissioning and validation of HVAC and Water systems to ensure compliance with CIBSE codings.
– Verifying AHUs, ventilation and water distribution systems to ensure they meet design specifications.
– Auditing AHUs and following audits with any necessary work to ensure compliance.
– Balancing of both air and water systems (fan coils, AHUs, extract systems, primary and secondary air, LTHW / CHW).
– Adjusting voltages for secondary FCUs.
– Drawing schematics and using these to prepare all relevant paperwork prior to Pre-Commissioning balancing.
