This is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically complex, detail-led projects involving façades, stonework, roofing, joinery, and specialist finishes — Ideal for a QS who takes pride in craftsmanship, values integrity and quality, and is eager to work on some of London’s most unique and historically significant projects.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)
Managing the commercial aspects of conservation and restoration projects from pre-construction through to final account
Preparing detailed cost plans, variations, valuations, and subcontractor packages
Working closely with project and site teams to manage budgets, track progress, and maintain financial control
Leading procurement and overseeing payment applications and cashflow forecasts
Assisting with tenders, contract negotiation, and client reporting
Ensuring compliance with heritage project requirements and documentation standards About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within conservation, heritage, or specialist construction
Comfortable managing multiple contracts with values up to £2m across London sites
Strong understanding of listed building works, including masonry, roofing, timber, and specialist finishes
Skilled in contract admin, valuations, variations, and cost control
Confident communicator with the ability to work across site teams, clients, and heritage consultants
Suitable for Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor-level candidates looking for meaningful work About the Company
