Site Manager
Job Title: Site Manager – Groundworks (New Build Housing)
Location: Somercotes, Derbyshire
Duration: 12 Weeks
Linsco are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager to oversee groundworks operations on a new build housing development in Somercotes.
This role is for a well-established groundworks contractor, supporting the delivery of foundation works, drainage, and external works in the early stages of the build. The contract is expected to run for 12 weeks, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily groundworks activities on site
Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and to spec
Coordinate with the main contractor and internal teams to maintain programme
Monitor progress, manage materials, and report back to senior management
Uphold site health & safety standards at all times
Maintain accurate site records and toolbox talksRequirements:
Proven experience managing groundworks on new build housing developments
SMSTS
Valid CSCS card
First Aid certification
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
