An established and well-respected building services consultancy in Leamington Spa is looking to recruit a Graduate Building Services Engineer to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects and technologies.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a recent graduate in Building Services Engineering or a related field who is passionate about building performance, sustainability, and the built environment. You'll be eager to develop your skills, take on responsibility, and work as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of mechanical and electrical building services systems
Perform lighting and cable calculations using software tools like Dialux and Electrical OM (training provided)
Support heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic services design using spreadsheets and software like IES (training provided)
Collaborate with manufacturers on equipment selection and system integration (e.g., VRV/heat pump systems)
Produce 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and develop 3D models in Revit (training provided)
Attend site visits and project meetings with senior engineers
Engage in continued professional development and keep up to date with industry standardsQualifications & Skills
Degree (BEng, BSc) or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Basic IT proficiency
Willingness to learn industry-specific software and tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
