Job Title: Joinery Working Foreman – School Refurbishment

Duration: 8 Weeks
Rate: £24 per hour (CIS)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Joinery Working Foreman for a school refurbishment project in Leyland. This is a hands-on role where you will be leading a small team of joiners, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard – while also working on the tools as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise joinery and general site works in line with programme and safety standards
Carry out joinery tasks including installation and general carpentry
Coordinate daily site operations and trades
Ensure quality control and site safety compliance
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and school staff where needed
Requirements:
SSSTS or SMSTS (Mandatory)
Enhanced DBS Certificate (Must be valid and current)
CSCS Card (Skilled Worker or higher)
Proven experience in a working foreman or supervisory joinery role
Able to lead a small team while being hands-on
Strong knowledge of health & safety on live school sites
Reliable, punctual, and professional
