The Senior Building Surveyor's Role

As the successful Senior Building Surveyor, you will take a lead role in delivering a broad range of commercial surveying services – including dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance. You'll work directly with key clients, oversee project delivery, and support junior surveyors with mentorship and guidance.

This is a client-facing position that will see you managing multiple projects simultaneously while providing strategic advice across the full building lifecycle. You will also have the opportunity to specialise in key service lines depending on your strengths and interests, while continuing to develop as a leader within the team.

The Successful Senior Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

MRICS-qualified (or equivalent)

A degree in Building Surveying or a related field

Knowledge and Attributes:

Experience across a range of commercial consultancy services

Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Commercially aware and client-focused

Motivated to contribute to team growth and mentor junior staff
