Jnr Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

We're seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services to join our expanding Mechanical & Electrical division. This hands-on role offers the chance to gain end-to-end project exposure—from feasibility and design to site surveys and contract support.

You'll contribute to electrical designs across industrial and infrastructure sectors, working with state-of-the-art software such as ETAP, Trimble, and DIALux.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in design of electrical systems for major infrastructure projects

* Prepare design calculations, feasibility reports, and technical documentation

* Support contract administration and participate in site surveys

* Work on electrical design components including LV/HV systems, lighting, earthing, and more

* Collaborate with senior engineers to develop efficient, sustainable design solutions

Experience:

* A certified electrician (e.g. City & Guilds 2396) or relevant degree

* A strong understanding of electrical design principles; practical experience is a plus

* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

* Knowledge of electrical theory including HV/LV systems, lighting, and earthing

* Experience with engineering software such as ETAP, DIALux, and Trimble

* A passion for learning and advancing in the field of electrical engineering
