About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality residential development in the beautiful county of Monmouthshire. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a reputable housebuilder with a strong pipeline of projects and a commitment to excellence in design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all site-based activities, managing subcontractors, trades, and direct labour.

*

Ensure health & safety compliance across all areas of the site.

*

Drive the programme of works, keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

*

Monitor and maintain build quality and finish standards from groundworks through to final handover.

*

Manage site logistics, materials procurement, and resource planning.

*

Conduct regular progress meetings with the site team, commercial, technical, and external consultants.

*

Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

*

Support and mentor junior site staff.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential developments (ideally volume housebuilding or high-spec bespoke).

*

Strong understanding of NHBC standards and UK building regulations.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple trades and drive programme performance.

*

Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable:

*

Experience managing developments in rural or heritage-sensitive locations.

*

Knowledge of sustainable building practices and modern construction methods.
